Well,

I lost three out of the four which was expected. I still can't believe this last little guy is hanging on, but he's walking around, pecking and acting pretty "normal". However, he looks like a runt to me. He's smaller and he almost acts like he can't see quite as well.

Any suggestions on what to do with a lone chick? Will it survive without others? I've put his head in the water so he knows to drink, and there's enough food spread around in the box that he can pretty much bend over almost anywhere and eat something. I still can't believe he made it through the night. I'm just not sure what to do with him to help him.

chicks cannot be alone. If you have one, you must get another one for the lone chick. If a chick is alone, it will die very soon.

Well, I think that I can probably get one of the chicks from school on Monday. They are ones that were brought in already hatched since the original eggs did not hatch properly. Will this poor little guy make it until Monday afternoon??
