She started eating yesterday! I credit her recovery to the Slippery Elm treatment. Her crop was hard until I started the Slippery Elm, but of course I was still giving her the Difulcan and the Sulfadiazine which is an antifungal and antibacterial. I was taking her to the Vet to be fed every few days, although I tried to feed her with a syringe, it was hard alone, so I didn't get much down her. I did also give her Poultry Drench to help keep her alive. After her Vet feeding yesterday, I gave her some mealworms and she ate them and is now eating some halved blueberries. I couldn't find original post so created a new one. The Vet only charged me $10 for each feeding, btw. I take Slippery Elm myself for stomach pain, so I had confidence in this herbal remedy.
