Nice, TreyClark, very nice!! DH wants to paint it traditional red and white; I want something more original, but I am humoring him because he's the one putting in most of the hard work.

Barg, we're going to build a run...but not entirely sure yet how. Probably we're going to build something similar to Speckledhen's, using welded wire fencing and garden fence posts; the difficulty will be building a door because of course it will require framing, etc. Just as we finish up one project, another awaits. I just want to be done!

I'd love to let them free range, but between my four terriers who live to hunt, and the neighbor's idiot Lab who thinks my dogs are cute fast-moving snacks, they must be penned into a run. Next spring I might experiment with letting them out an hour or two before dusk as long as I'm outside.
