So several weeks ago I posted about a young hen who appear to injure her foot and stopped bearing weight on it. I isolated her for about three weeks with no improvement though she appeared healthy and continued to eat. I finally took her to a vet . Who found no sprain or break but a mild bumblefoot which she removed (no drainage but slight infection). I've continued same isolation, with oral antibiotics for about 5 days, pain meds and daily soaks. Still, healthy, eating, hopping on one foot and lowering injured foot but no weight bearing. She has about 5 more days of treatment but I'm discouraged. Wondering if she will every bear weight again. Can't afford to return to the vet as cost is ridiculous. Any thoughts?

Don't worry. I'm sure she will eventually do fine. Sometimes they don't even favor the foot with the infection. I once had a hen that somehow broke 3 toes. They stayed crooked (sort of slanted to the side) but the healed that way and eventually she lived well. I did have to trim the nails on those toes a couple times because they didn't get worn down naturally from scratching.
