Update on my visit with the Mormons

Well, it's about an hour past the time the Mormon gentlement were supposed to be here. There's been no sign, no call. I think I've been stood up.

Wow. When even the Mormons don't like you, it's time to reassess your personality! LOL

As long as they stay in Raleigh and away from Youngsville I'm good.

I was at a grocery store in Wake Forest once and some mormons started walking towards me as I was going to my car, I picked up pace to get away from them. Out of nowhere this black van pulls up behind my car blocking it in. The guys walked right up to me and started handing me little booklets and talking about whatever. I told them that if their buddy in the van didn't move then I would blank them in their blanks and blank blank blank blank blank...they left after that.

Well, that was rather rude. You were willing to give up some of your time, but apparently that wasnt respected. That's a pet peeve of mine, people being late for or not even showing up for appointments. Since much of their lives revolve around appointments, you'd think they'd have been there. Sorry, Lisa.

No experience with mormons, but when JW come to MIL's house, she pulls out her Bible and tries to convert them.
She says for some reason they never seem to stay long!

I am really very certain that they said Tuesday. They first said Thursday, but I turned them down because I spend Thursdays with Doodle (my niece). So I suggested Wednesday, and they couldn't do Wednesday, and then, I thought we agreed on Tuesday. I know it was 2PM.

I set out cookies, fruit and candies, made real lemonade, cleaned the house, and everything.

Now they'll probably show up tomorrow when I'm elbow deep in some mess and the house is wrecked.
