I noticed quite quickly he was splay legged. I came on here to ask for advice. My grandpa was saying to cull him, he couldn't walk. As a few of you users know, I cannot walk without an assistive device, so it hurt me to give up on something so new and small... So I separated him.

He tried his best to keep going but often flopped over on his back. He was also smaller than the rest.

I tried the sock method I seen on A Chick Called Albert, it took two nights to help a little. We started Ducky Physical Therapy.

I took an old sock, added leg holes, and propped him up just enough so his little feet were flat on the blanket. It took awhile, we kept working.

He started to waddle pretty good, I thought I'd take him back out to his parents. So I set him down not too far away, the mother duck wanted him. Misfit wasn't having it. He wobbled and hopped and beak planted his way right back to me. He was imprinted.

We go outside, I lay down in the yard and keep an eye on him as he sits and munches. Junior the Cat wasn't too sure about my new "kitten" at first, but decided he was a cool cat.

So, here is the story of Misfit (formerly Wobbles) so far. I still can't get anything done without him peeping, and my conures have learned that when the duckling starts peeping it's time to start calling for me/mama. He's gotten so much bigger, but is still pretty awkward on his feet and if he gets going too fast he trips. (Clumsy, like me.) And we love taking a nap for about 2 hours in the afternoon.
To think I almost listened to my grandpa on culling him. I would've killed a perfectly vibrant little bub who was trying his best to get going.

Sorry there's so many pictures, I hope everyone enjoys. I was asked by a few for an update.

Quick E: I'd like to thank Miss Lydia especially, she's been so patient and kind with answering my questions. I had so many as a new duck mom.
