Okay, to recap, I ordered 16, got 10 and was trying to decide whether to settle or not. I didn't want to just feed a bunch of big chickens, so I opted for bantams. Well, when I got the hatchery on the phone (long story short) something happened (who knows what) and I ended up ordering 12 bantams! (I think I figured half would be roos that I can't keep in the suburbs.)
So when I opened my chirping box today, I receved the 12 bantams (cute as can be) and 16!!! extras for warmth! Now I have 38! Oh no, this will not work! So now I'm trying to find homes quickly for these 16 unidentified chicks. Nothing is simple, is it?
