We were leaning toward that also. My girls the same age look and act very differently

Pullets can act just like cockerels, so I never go off of behavior. Especially when they're establishing pecking order. Pullets will run at each other, bump chests, peck heads, jump on each other, etc. as well.

We love them too! Our buffs have 2 Barred Rock 'sisters' and they all get along so nicely

That's good I've never been much of a fan of barred rocks. I'm not sure why. Don't really have anything against them... Just don't care for them. Haha.

Do you guys breed and raise them?
