Urban Chicken Chicklet!

Hello all.

I am just waiting on the arrival of two chickens I am adopting from friends who are moving away. I am getting a lovely coop and two black hens (not sure of the breed as yet!)...

Very excited and hope to share and learn with all you chicken experts out there!

We live in Melbourne, Australia, and the family consists of myself, hubby and two beautiful boys, almost 3 and nearly 1! Oh, and the hens!

They have scaly leg mite though, so off to read up on that and ask some questions!
