Has anyone ever used UREA cream for a callus on your birds foot either a chicken or a duck or another poultry?
It comes in different strengths. There’s a 20% 40% and 60% UREA cream it’s supposed to soften and remove calluses on people.
One of my ducks has a callous that is not Bumblefoot not Bumblefoot (100% not bumble)
She has had these calluses for years because she walks a little crooked on her feet. I think the crooked walk is because of the day her flock was killed by a fox and she was one of the two survivors who ran very far and long to get away and that was before they came here to live with me and she had a limp . Anyway one of the ingredients is avocado oil and I know avocado is bad for birds, but I don’t know if it would matter that it’s in there when I’m using the urea cream on a foot callous?

I just came back to edit and post some pictures
I’m posting pictures of both feet because they both have the callousing but one is worse than the other and I don’t know really if it’s bothering her or not, but she started limping a little bit lately and I don’t see anything else wrong with her so I thought perhaps I’ll try to treat the callous
I have been in touch with Miss Lydia who told me that many years ago she used a callous cream made for humans on one of her Muscovy’s feet and it worked. But she doesn’t remember what the name of the cream was so I don’t know if it was Urea or not.
By the way, she is a Cayuga and about three years old
And the first jar of cream my mother already had here in the house and said I can use it. The other one is for sale on eBay and I don’t know if maybe I should get that.
