]My 5 week old roo has an abcess on his lower neck/breast area. Been treating with antibiotic ointment. It has progessively gotten worse. It looks like it is healing with some scabing around the edges. I think it has infiltrated his esophagus. Everytime he drinks, water runs out of the hole. He is eating and drinking but i am afraid he is suffering, should I wait and see if it heals??? I also have him separated from the other chicks, since they are the cause of this. They started to peck him bloody last week, so I brought him back into the house in the brooder. I now have him in a separate crate in the coop. Is there something I could be doing to help him??? please help.
