I have a Indian runner duckling, approx 7 days old, she is extremely constipated, her tummy is very swollen and hard. Her vent was pasty too. Iv rang all of my local vets and none will see ducks ( I’m in the UK) i don’t know if that’s a reason. Iv bathed her , cleaned her , but how can I help the constipation. I’m so worried that I’m going to lose her . Any advice please! Thankyou !

Can you give her some raw apple cider vinegar in her water? Maybe a pinch of sugar and salt too.
I'm assuming that you don't have electrolyte and probiotic chicken supplements, which would be my first choice.

If you have a few pictures of her, and her vent area, that would be helpful. Do you have pictures of what she is in; what is the temperature? What are you feeding her, Is she eating, or drinking?

Ideally, If she's in a good enough state, you would dampen a cloth, and attempt to loosen the fecal matter around her vent. If she is eating, you may add a little bit of mineral oil to promote lubrication of her GI tract. Adding some vitamins/electrolytes into her water would likely be beneficial as well.
