**URGENT** chick with broken wing

one of our three new chicks seemed to be missing this morning but when i went looking for him i found him hanging from his mommas feathers, he somehow got one stuck to him. in her panicked search for her missing chick the hen trampled him and when i got him off his wing looked damaged, it is hanging to the ground and he is not moving it. he doesnt seem to be in to much pain but is not as active as he usually is. i have posted some photos, is there anything that i can do for him? thkyou for any replies.

You will need to be very gentle since this one is so tiny. The manual below explains how to examine for a fracture. Also how to wrap and splint if necessary. A figure 8 wrap is most common for wings, I've never tried it on a chick this small. And it may cause mama distress and she may pick on or attack the chick if it's wrapped, so just be prepared just in case. You will need to use your own judgement on whether it needs to be wrapped and supported, or if it may resolve on it's own with some time. It could be sprained or strained. If you are not able to find a fracture, I might be inclined to give it some time unless you think it's at risk of being injured worse.
