!!!URGENT!!! CHICKEN IN DANGER!!!

Hi everybody,

Let me start by saying that one of my RIR White Leghorn mixes has acted strangely for the last two days. By strange I mean she is at the top of the pecking order and has always regularly reinforced that but now she has been doing a lot of sitting and acting lethargic. I also have a suspicion that she has stopped laying and when I took a closer look tonight I saw and felt that her behind is extremely large. In the pics attached you will se her with another hen who has always been almost identical to her in size shape posture and energy. The hen I am concerned about is the darker one. Does this mean that she possibly has an egg that is backed up? Is she sick? I desperately need thoughts or ideas, please help!

she may be egg bound. I would put her in warm water and soak her behind, maybe put some olive oil on her clockea ( do not know how to spell that LOL ) anyone else have idea's ? I say if you felt harness on her bottom she is egg bound. read up on egg bound chickens and that will help you figure out whats going on

After a 25 minute warm bath I took her into the garage and within 2 minutes this came out. It is kind of hard to see but it appears to be an egg white with poop mixed in. What else is there for me to do?
