Urgent Hatching Questions

I lost power once 2 weeks into incubation. The temp in the incubator was 78 degrees when I discovered it. I put the incubator on a battery pack with an inverter and brought the temp back up. I still had a good hatch. There is a thread on BYC where several others have either lost power or had power spikes and I think their hatches went ok. It takes time for the eggs to cool down so I don't think that really affected the hatch.

Thanks so much for all the help!

Humidity is so confusing! I've hatched lots of Marans in the R-COM, humidity was 40% from day one through the hatch. The hatch rates have been great even with shipped eggs. 16 out of 18, 11 out of 15, 8 out of 10.

I working on reading the intervention thread and will also read the about calibrating a hygrometer.

Thank you all so much!

The chicks are doing great, eating, drinking and running around
