*URGENT HELP PLEASE* chick pipped wrong end and has not broken membrane!!!1

hello,
would anybody please know what i could do. my chick has pipped on the wrong side of the egg and only broken the shell. i can see that the membrane does not have a hole in it so i fear the chick can not breathe. could anyone please let me know if i should step in and if so what i should do.

well im not sure but i only notices it around 2 hours ago.

You can carefully take a needle and poker hole in the membrane but usually if the shell is cracked then the membrane is cracked too even though you may not be able to see it.

no however i do have 2 other eggs that have pipped but havent unzipped yet. the first one has been 24 hours since it has pipped and little progress has been made

and the humidity levels have been 55-65 throughout and then 65-70 since lockdown

I think if I were you I would just leave it alone for now but if you're that worried go ahead and make a little hole.

It really is better not to open incubator but I do it all the time.
