Urgent Help!!!

So my brooding hen just died! The heat I think She spilled her water and i didn't notice until 6hrs later...

How can I keep her eggs alive? They are due in less than a week!

I'm really not having any luck hatching eggs... Ready to throw in the towel! Without spending $200+ on an incubator, how do you do this!

This is something that isn't really recommended because you need to keep your humidity up (you can try a wet sponge) and you would have to turn the eggs frequently but here is someone's emergency story.

I searched for "incubating without an incubator" if you want to try to find other threads too

You could get a less expensive foam incubator for under $100. That's what I would do. A hova-bator or any such type.

So sorry about your momma hen. We lost 4 yesterday to the heat/no water.

You could also build one yourself. Do a quick search on Youtube there are a bunch of videos. I built mine from an old cooler I had and I think I spent about $30 for the rest of the supplies. My chicks are hatching as we speak so I know it works.
