Hmmmm, I’m brand new at this but it was definitely poop.....I guess I just assumed that if they absorb the yolk sac and are stuck in egg too long then it would be possible to have a bowel movement just like with human babies??? I did put him in with the others after all of the advice I received on here.

Make sure the baby is dry first, or put them underneath the heat lamp. If you notice the other babies bothering them, maybe move it back into the brooder or something. I had a chick that was very weak (it ended up passing away) and the others kind of pecked at it and stuff. Sometimes it can be hard to introduce a new baby after the others have already bonded. Just keep watch and trust your gut instinct. :fl Good luck!

He’s doing ok, getting around in the brooder with the other 15. He is still curled under a little bit it isn’t slowing him down at all!!all in all I ended up with out of 30 set 6 infertile 18 hatched 1 died very soon after. I have 17 alive but 1 not looking so hot.
