I have a seven week old chick that was attacked by a cat. It's scalp had two puncture holes and now has become one big one. The chick acts fine and is eating and drinking normally. Can I super glue the wound shut or leave it be. I have been putting neosporin on it. Thank you

If the wound is over 12 hours old then you will need to leave it open. The risk of getting an infection in the wound is too great after a certain time frame. Neosporin should help it heal. What has caused the wound to change from 2 punctures to one large hole? You should probably keep the bird separate from the rest of the flock until the wound heals.
