not sure what to do right now. we all of a sudden got a terrible windstorm and my broody hen is sitting on duck and chicken eggs right at the edge of her house... so i came home and its been pouring for about 2 hours. she is not SOAKED but her behind is pretty wet.... incuding the straw... its damp not like a puddle or anything.... so i thru a garbage bag in front of the door and tacked it really well... im hoping she will be able to dry pretty fast including the bedding underneath... how bad did i screw up.... im so stressed and ticked off at myself...

Don't beat youself up. Mistakes happen. I would take her out and change all the bedding and stuff and put it all back together. And when you do that, give her treats so she's busy eating while you do it.

I would just do it now. Sorry. I tend to forget some people are not on the same time zone as me. But you are just an hour different. My girls would still be up.
