I'm hoping this is "ok" as I think it would make "turning" the eggs a lot easier.

Has anyone used the cardboard trays in an incubator? Did it go ok?

I used them in my styrofoam incubator and just tipped the whole incubator and propped something under the side. It worked great.
this only works for circulated fan models. It will cook your clutch in a still air model. Also, for every one inch over, you must elevate the side of the incubator by one inch to get the full 45° rotation.

I have some true hatching trays on the way, but in the interim I have them in the cardboard trays. I just put a box in the middle of the incubator to provide the incline for the trays...then I just rotate the tray.
