Using chicken nipple waterers with ducks

my ducks have access to water outside their house that allows them to completely submerge their bill. In their house, I'm thinking about using a waterer with chicken nipples. Thoughts?

It works for us. They are very smart, so six of my ducks (the other three are ducklings, so they're still inside) learned almost right away. We have had no problems at all, and they have been drinking out of it for almost 4 months.

Thanks for the ovation, jtheise4! In response to your question, our ducks learned on their own, probably because they nibble on everything, and once one discovered that the bucket contained water, they all followed suit. It might not be a bad idea, though, to show yours where to find something to drink. I usually do this by wiggling the metal "nipples" and letting a little bit of water drip out while they're watching. Good luck with your duckies!
