Using sand as bedding inside the coop?

Do you guys think it would work if instead of using wood shavings we just put sand in the inside of the coop?

Do it. Love it! Like a big cat litter box. So easy to clean!

Right now, we use sand in our run and shavings inside. I will most definately be switching to all sand.

There's a reallly great long thread on this called "Got Sand? You Should" that I found yesterday It's got everything you need to know about using sand and then some. Based on what I read, I'm ordering sand for my coop and run.
