Using the roost (update)

2 days ago I posted a thread that my girls will not use their roost to sleep. They like to huddle in the corner on the floor. everybody that responded said they will eventually start to use the roost. Tonight i opened the coop to put them in for the night and 1 of them jumped up on to the roost and then the rest followed her. I guess i should have just waited 2 days. But, thank you all for your responses.

MIne did the same thing

They were pretty old even by the time they finally started using the roosts. Silly things. My silkies never did use the roost...always slept in a corner.

Man I wish mind would do that, nope they still huddle in the corner.

My 15 month olds still won't roost. Just one big pile in the corner.

Maybe someday...lol
