Had hens go broody - a total first for me and a last I might add - one of the girls died - all I can figure is she never left to eat or drink and my darling husband who was in charge of the chickens while I was gone, never noticed. He also didn't pay attention to when they went broody so I'm not sure of age.

I took the girls off of the eggs and put them in the incubator. I candled and they appear to be between 12 and 15 days....I figured I'd weigh them. But the only chart I could find online is for the weights of a white Leghorn. Which are smaller than my orps. So is there a weight chart for other breeds that I'm not finding?

Help????
