Vaccinating young birds

I recently bought some young birds, about six weeks old according to the person I purchased them from. what do I need to do in way of vaccinations? I did not think to ask if they had any of their vaccinations when I bought them. Is there an ideal age to do this or does it matter? Which vaccines need to be administered? and how?
