Vaccination Poll

I just ordered some broilers and decided not to get them vaccinated.

It's a complicated issue. Where do other BYC'ers land on this?

hi I have a very small flock and yes I'm in the process of vaccinating myself.I don't have broilers I have silkies that are my beloved pets. so far I've vaccinated for mareks and coryza. I might also do new castle. but I have to save up as that one is very expensive. around 178. the mareks was 19 and coryza was 58. as your chicks are broilers and will be eaten I might would only do mareks. if they were pets I'd say yes vaccinate for more but since they are meat birds I'd say maybe mareks . but not much more.this is my opinion
it looks like over 1/2 said not at all in the poll. I can understand that for meat birds. but pets are different in my opinion. hope this is helpful. best wishes . in the long run do what you're comfortable with. good luck to you!
