I have 11 ducks in 3/4 acres of land. I try to maintain a clean environment, but we do have some sparrows that search their coop for food. In my reading, it was recommended that ducks in general get vaccinated.

My questions are: does anyone out there vaccinate their ducks? If so, what do you vaccinate for? I also read that an initial worming for baby ducks is a good idea (like we do with puppies), any thoughts on this?

I don't vaccinate, and don't worm ducklings. If waterfowl are kept in healthy environment which means not crammed together and standing and living in their poop they are very resistant to parasites. I recc. Storey's guide to Raising Ducks.

Nope. None of that here. Although I am a great squash-grower (humbly-stated fact), so my ducks eat tons of squash: seeds, pulp and peel. That is a natural wormer, I have read. And they love it, so win-win. I'm a firm believer that as long as you practice common sense with bringing in new animals and visitors, plus you practice good hygiene in and around your place, all should be well. My $0.02.
