Vaccines for Newcastle disease?

I've read some confusing things about this -- that the some of the newcastle vaccines are not very effective, that others result in substantial mortality in and of themselves...All in all, things that make me think that vaccinating is not a good idea. Yet other sources say to vaccinate...

Does anyone have any experience vaccinating for Newcastle? Which vaccine would be best, and where do you get it?
