i sold a old car we had and when the guy came to pick it up and we moved it. i found a nest of 8 quail eggs under it. what should i do with them i dont think mom will be back and set on them now that the car is gone. should i just toss them ar leave them for the animals. also how long is the incubation for valley quail. if i would of knew the eggs were under there i would of left the car till they hatched before we moved it. thanks for the help

If it was me, I would definitely incubate them and see what you get. I don't know how long valley quail take but most quail are around 18 days.

I think i seen that they are 22-23 days. i thought about incubating them and i do have an empty bator but dont want to get in any trouble.

The choice is yours, yes, you can get in big trouble if you are caught, would i incubate the eggs.........Yup!! But i would also turn the chicks back out when they got old enough, trust me, they are wild and will survive once turned loose.
