Found a pair for sale local witch is unheard of around here lol so can I incubate eggs and turn my 2 birds to a few more with out gene defects or should I not do it??

Yes, I don't see why not. Do you know if they are related? I have Gambel quails and they all came from one person and if the Valley are anything like the Gambels which I think they are, when they find a mate, they mate for life... So if you already have your mates, I think your a head of the game.. LOL

However, You have to be careful though, if they are mates already when you hatch out more and put them all together, from what I understand The two that are mates right now, the male will get very agressive with the babies once they are older, or the new commers. So you may have to split the babies up once they reach adult age.
 
All quail, including Gambels can tolerate temps down to zero. If it gets any colder, you can use heat lamps to keep them warm. :)

OK thanks normal lows here normally don't get below teens so I should b good to go thanks for the info I have brooder lamps in my pens for laying breeders to get extra light for a few more hours past dark and for heat when winter comes around

I normally have a few hundred coturnix at a time and just got my flight pen slash Avery done for my bobs wen I get them after my permit gets signed so I will proly have around 500 or more quail
