Valley Quail

My daughter wants valley quail. I have just started keeping coturnix because they seemed the easiest from what I've read. My daughter is 9 and would be taking care of them by herself. Is she too young? Is it too much responsibility for her? She's good with animals, makes good grades and is an all-around good kid. I need some help and advice. Thanks

Imo---- Way Too Young! Valley's Are Spaz Monsters. Even If She's Really Good With Animals I Beleive The Valleys May Be Too Much For Her Yet---

OK Thanks. I will probably give her a breeding pair or trio of these cortunix as her own and see how she does and give her some experience and when she gets older, if she still wants them, then valleys.

Or you could get her some buttons. They are fun a little harder but near as hard as valley
