Variety Breed from Frey's - Ontario

Hello everyone!

Expecting my first batch of chicks in early April. I ordered day old chicks from Frey's.

Question - has anyone ever ordered the Layer Variety option? It says you'll receive their choice of any 3 brown egg layer breeds.

I order a handful of them because I kind of like the surprise. Just wondering if anyone has tried this option before and what you ended up getting?

I received a great variety! But I have no idea what most of them are. LOL I ordered 2 Azure Blue, which I can identify (white chicks with black spots), and two Olive Eggers (no clue which ones those are). The others are all a surprise.

The black chicks seem to be the same breed. It's very hard to tell them apart.

The brown ones I suspect are either a RIR, Rhodebar or RSL, based off of the hatchery website.

They are 11 days old now and all doing well.
