So, I'm excited to say that my first turkey is quickly approaching his second birthday at the beginning of April. 
Better yet he is a BBW! The pretty girl next to him is my friends BBW hen who she got at the same time. We had 9 BBW's to start with two years ago. Sold 2 at a 4H auction, butchered one, one got killed by a dog and the others all passed on their own later on. Most of them made it past a year but I never imagined they would live this long! It's amazing! We even have a baby out of this hen pictured here.
