I know this is on silkies but what does it mean exactly? thanks I have some silkie mixes 2 of my chicks have the 5 toes and parts of their legs and feet are dark skin but not all they are black w/some white markings

It just means that there is a hole at the top of the skull, you have to be careful.

One of my silkies had a bubble head when it was a day old, so far he has the largest crest.

One day, he was pecked in the head by a bigger older EE, and then he got wryneck where he was twisting his neck and didn't know which way was up.

I gave him vitamin E and he was fine within 4 days. I thought he was a goner for sure.
