Vedio of chicks broken leg, any help?

Hey everyone,

One of my chicks has a broken leg. I'm new-er at this so I'm looking for any help on this one! If it is possible to make a splint or something. She has some use of it but not her toes. She makes it along ok, but I was hoping to help her out!

For the first time in ages I am using the lap top tonight -so it was easy to turn around to watch your chick... It looks to me that the hock looks swollen - could the joint be dislocated rather than the leg broken?? A splint could help- but making sure the bone is in alignment is important.

I had a chick with a similar, if not the same, problem and found the above website. I wish I had a happy ending to share, but due to many issues my chick did not make it. but wanted to share the website. good luck
