Hello
I had a pretty good harvest of turnips and parsnip. I can't make a storage clamp because there is too little of it unfortunatelly.
I want to store it for a bit but my basement and garage are too warm.
I figured out that if i put root veggies in a bucket with slightly wet sand, they will survive a few months and will be hard as fresh. The problem is that they grow leaves. I get rid of the leaves when i can but i'm worried that they'll go woody.
Will they go woody? Technically because of the temperature they are still alive and vegetating. I haven't seen one bolting in sand though, just those white and little leaves.
