I've started to incubate quail eggs and it's now day 6, I candled one of my quail eggs and the veins inside move when I move the egg but the other eggs veins are still and don't move, was wondering if there's anything wrong with the one quail egg and is this normal?

How do they look today?

There should be movement to be seen for sure by now.
The veins that was moving in the one egg had gone bad and sadly died inside the egg but the other egg that I struggled to see veins in has developed but no air pockets so I'm just hoping for the best for this one

Hey! What are your temperature and humidity settings? I personally have seen the most success with 99.5 temperature and 50% humidity. I also recommend not candling so often because it could lead to falling hatch rates!

99.5°c would cook the eggs at that point my incubator which I think you mean 99.5F which my incubator only does celsius 37.5°c is 99.5f I only candle my eggs on day five then day 14 when lockdown happens
