Hi guys i have a brinsea 104 hatchmaster A

it has four vent holes in the top and a damper lever on the bottom you can slide it right to fully close the vent and slide it left to fully open the vent there is no advice in the instructions on what to do with the damper lever while the eggs are incubating the only advice it gives is to have higher humidty during the last few days after stop turning and also to block two of the holes if the incubator is half full so im kind of lost... can any one give me any advice if they have used this incubator before or one of the brinsea ones thats simalar many thanks

I don't have this model and have just looked at the downloadable instruction s and can't see anything about the vent. But if I were you and you had the option of either open or closed I would go for open. Oxygen is vital in the development of embryos, blocking oxygen would be a risk.

Good luck with your hatch :fl
