My larger coop has a vent on the back and a door that I open during the day to let the hens have fresh air until we get the run built. These are the pictures:

Is this enough ventilation? Especially in the winter, when I may not be able to open the door everyday. The two ends have small windows that do not open and the pop door is on the right side.

My smaller coop is the one I have bigger concerns about the ventilation. There is one window that slides open, a pop door on the opposite wall from the window with access to the nest boxes above it. There isn't an actual vent, but a small gap at the top of the coop underneath the metal roof on either side of the 2x2 running down the middle.

I am considering putting a vent like the larger coop has above the window. Any suggestions?

With the top one...I don't think it is enough vents with the door closed.

For winter, you could make a Dutch door so half is still open....or, you could make la louvered door that would help block wind and snow, but still let it vent (like the louvers in the first photo)

I can't tell what the first photo is for the second coop.

I would put two vents in the second one, where ever they fit best that won't make a breeze over the perch space.
