It is now day 19 since I placed my bobwhite eggs into the incubator. I was turning eggs when it occured to me that they should be very close to hatch. So checking my date I placed the eggs I realized I'm just days from hatch! I candled before and removed only one egg of 14 for not developing but had gone at least a week and 1/2 since. So I candled again today and all 13 remaining eggs have chicks and easily movement can be seen and even felt when holding the eggs. I've had quail before but this is my first attempt at hatching them since 1997. My first try failed but, I did everything right this time and now I am waiting to see the results of all my tending.

Thanks. I will be sure to get some pics once they start hatching. I'm also waiting on some golden manchurians to develop. I have been looking at pics of hatchling quail and the size is just amazing!
