Very hot!! When is it dangerous

I dump 2-3 gallons of water on the dirt in the shady areas of the run at lock up when I know it's going to be hot. The chickens scratch around in it the next day to dust bathe.

They don't have to dig down very far to find cooler dirt.

Why not a fan? I feel like that is everyone suggests?

A fan will not help them, you can bring them in if needed.
