Very mean rooster

As you can tell by the title, I have a very mean rooster. He was a year old in June. He is a Lakenvelder and is beautiful. But he is very very very mean. One of the meanest we've ever had. Is there any way to help make him nicer? He has made my other rooster mean as well. Is there anything j can do?

There are many threads on modifying a roosters temperament. In my experience they are temporary fixes at best, and such a rooster can never be fully trusted - especially dangerous if children are a part of the scenario. As you have witnessed such a rooster can impact the flock personality in a negative fashion. Any sons of this rooster would have a high likelihood of human aggressive behavior. In my opinion such a rooster should be removed from the gene pool.
