very new to chooks

Hi everyone, I am very new to the whole chicken thing. My mum has just got some chooks on her new property and she had her first batch of eggs, somewhat accidentally. Unfortunately only 4 hatched successfully and we lost a couple, but we are left with 3 eggs and not sure what they will do yet. Just learning. But since this has all happened and I have been reading all the info on the net, I think this is something that I could really enjoy. Fingers crossed for my eggs and happy to be part of BYC. Lots of learning to come.
