I'm heartbroken! I let a mini farm take care of my three babies, while I was looking for a place to move to, where they were allowed.
But then one of my hens, got sick, and the ppl at the farm didnt do a darn thing nor said anything.
So I took her home with me, to figure out what was wrong with her.
Turns out she had hairworm and mites, and has lost alot of weight.
So I treated her for worms, and gave her Frontline, but the mites were still crawling!
Then I sprayed her some more, but the thing was still alive...
I called the vet, who told me that I shouldnt give her anymore as it could kill her, when she is so weak.
So I got some kind of powder that would dry the mites out.
Cant see any sign of them anymore, but she's still so weak.
I've bought any kind of food for her, hen feed, pigeoen luxury feed and canary feed. I then gave her sunflower seeds, she seems to like it. But isnt eating enough!
I dont know what to do, I dont want her to die

she looks pale, poops blood sometimes, and then greenish poops with white/pee marks on.
Has anyone experienced anything like it? Or have any tips?
I'm so desperate, I need my poor baby to be well again

She's a skalborg btw, a danish breed from the italian hen. She is 9 months, and weighs only 1050 gr! :'( and we're from Denmark

1st, I'd continue a complete chicken feed, grower if she's not laying. Something from 16-18% protein.
Then I'd get some probiotics in her. A probiotic powder for birds or even plain yogurt or kefir with live cultures mixed with the feed.
Then some animal protein like tuna.

Ditto CC's advise.

If she's pooping blood she may have coccidiosis....
Corid is often used in theUS to treat, not sure what you'd have over there.
