Hi Everyone,
I need your help. My O shamo stag, Charlie, has been going downhill for a week now. These are his symptoms:
- weight loss
- sleepy and apathetic
- eating and drinking normally
- moulting more severely than usual
- red mites
- milky white poo
I treated him with Ivermectin a week or so ago and cleaned and DE'd his coop so the red mites are nearly all gone but he's still just getting worse. He will eat and drink. I am feeding him corn and then a mixture of meal worms, cod liver oil and garlic. He has Antibiotics in his water and I have wormed him with Flubenvet.
His crop is emptying normally.
I dont know how old he is as I rehomed him from a place where he was severely mistreated - could these symptoms just be old age?
If anyone has any ideas please let me know. If this was just a reaction to mites shouldn't he be getting better not worse??
