Very, very large blood spot in egg!

Hello! We found this meat spot-blood spot in an egg, we have had very small specks but nothing like this. I think it’s from one our our Easter Egger girls. They are on layer feed, and they have oyster shells once in a while.

No real reason of concern unless you are getting it often.

Don't eat any eggs with meat spots.

I do, or fish it out if it's larger.

I've always heard not to eat ones that are overly large like that.

I've always read that it is safe to eat, but that many people find it unappetizing
