Very vocal 3 day olds

My sweet 3 day olds are eating, drinking, cuddling under heat plate and then venturing out to explore their new world (one of those small animal playpens- more than enough room for the three of them and in a guest room at about 70 degrees). No pasty butts. I have been handling and giving them moistened chick feed out of my hand, but now they cry unless I am near them. Is it possible to imprint "too much"? If so, what do I do now?

When you are done tending to them, leave the room, shut the door and continue on with whatever you're going to do. They will quiet down.
