Very vocal

My hen who hasn’t layed eggs yet but is super close is very vocal today! I searched the coop and my wife watched them as they free roamed this morning but I didn’t find any She will peck you to death on a normal day but today she seems a bit more rowdy as well. I’m just a newbie hoping this means she’s ready!

Mine sang the egg song for about 3 months before she laid an egg. Just got my first egg this week.

I’m hoping so! I can’t be to mad 3 outta 4 are nice lol I’m going to raise some this spring instead of buying more pullets in hopes they will be easier to handle.
