A little back story
I gave the school 6 eggs to hatch
Teacher used her brinsea mini 2
At lockdown we moved the 6 eggs into my bator as it has way more room to hatch
All 6 babies were moving but egg 6 had a small air cell
Day 28-29 five little ones hatched and baby 6 finally had his air cell drop and was shadowing along lower air cell
Day 32 baby bruises the egg just outside the air cell
I made a safety hole and the next day baby was still active
We made the hole a bit bigger ti look for the beak
Upon doing so this egg had a third membrane and a lot of goo
I removed it from babies beak and left it another day
Today day 34
Veins were gone so I started to hatch baby when I saw a ton of goo in the lower egg and a very odd huge yolk
Not a normal one and it was coated on goo too
I got baby out and she passed instantly ( sadly )
She had not absorbed any yolk as her belly was flat
There was no blood veins but a greenish , thick , gooey, sticky clump hanging from her navel
I removed it after she passed to see what was going on
Video included
I have a thought but would love to know if anyone has other thoughts on what happened
She looks just like my twins did
I didn’t check the eggs before I gave them to the teacher as both my candlers were tied up at 2 other schools
The eggs weren’t crazy big but my girls lay nice big eggs around 80-90 grams
I came in at week 2 and checked and all looked fine
But what if it was a twin egg and the second baby died early so I wouldn’t have seen it
It looked like 2 yolks together and having 3 membranes really through me off. The amount of extra goo as well
The other 5 babies had zero issues
Incubating was 45-50 % humidity taken down at to 40-45 % at week 2 as I wanted to see a bit more weight loss and larger air cells. It worked for the other 5 eggs
These eggs were set April 24th
This baby just passed today ( day 34)
Pic of baby so you can see she seemed formed normally

I'm so sorry he didn't make it :hugs
You have a better eye for hatching issues than I do, but my initial thought based on the colour of the yolk is that bacteria got to it. I could he completely wrong.
It does look really strange. But this one was very late, so there may just be something wrong with him, some just don't make it.

I did all I could do
I thought bacteria as a possibility too
My only thought on that was how did this baby survive with an infection
But it’s still a possibility
I’m hoping somebody else has seen something like this before
